The trailer for the upcoming movie about the first date of the US’ first couple, ‘Southside With You’ has been released.
The trailer sets the ground for the romantic drama about the oft told tale of the Obama’s first date.
The drama follows how the young Barack Obama managed to convince Michelle Robinson, his then boss- to go out on a date with him.
Tika Sumpter (Ride Along) plays the young Michelle, whilst Parker Sawyers (Zero Dark Thirty) portrays the young Barack Obama.
‘Southside With You’ hits theatres on August 19, 2016.
